Almost Spring! I’m so excited I could almost scream. It always feels like a bravely fought victory to reach the end of winter and find yourself alive. I’m so excited for the possibilities, and looking forward to growth, to change, to a new beginning.
Rent-A-Veg is what I plan to call the project that I hope to launch this spring. The concept is, people contact us, let us know that they would like to “Rent-A-Veg.” and we deliver to them. People can choose their level of green. The goal would be to establish a self-sustaining farm within our quasi-suburban neighborhood.
There will be options like; “host a tree”, “plant a bee friendly flower garden”, “host a hive”, “compost almost”, “raised vegetable bed”, “hens on loan.” The customer will pay a fee for the purchase and installation of the garden, and will have sustained access to advice from farmers any time they need it.
Sounds like fun, right?
